In groundbreaking news that would read -3.0 on the Richter Scale, Activision are now beginning to reveal the next generation of their long running shooter franchise with Call of Duty: Ghosts.

In a recent press release, Activision announces Call of Duty: Ghosts as the first foray into the next generation of the well-acclaimed franchise. Developed by Infinity Ward, the gargantuan publisher tells CoD faithfuls to expect the unexpected; powered by an new game engine built straight from the ground up.
For those that want more information, Activision will give it to you… on the condition that you catch the Microsoft event held at 10am on May 21! Tune into Xbox.com or Xbox Live at to catch the news (For Australians, it’ll be the 22nd at 3am AEST).
Call of Duty: Ghosts will release on November 5th for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC as well as “next gen platforms”, which Activision declined to comment on any further.
